 Putin ajutor? Sau mai mult :]

Ma poate ajuta cineva, care stie, ce sa ii fac la HL pentru a avea un fps mai mare si CONSTANT. Zilele trecute am jucat cu toate modelele, spriteuri etc default, doar configul era schimbat si cu rezlutia 640x480 ca sa am cat de cat constant fpsul la 125, dar nici asa nu prea era, mai scadea la 30 si 60...Laptopul are 4 GB ram, windows 7 professional 64-bit . Alte date de care aveti nevoie (cei doritori sa ajute...), raspundeti si va scriu cat mai curand posibil. Multumesc anticipat! Very Happy.

GREYSCALE TEXTURE PACK


It has taken a while to produce but these textures are finally ready to be shared in public. The initial goal of this project was to remove distracting colors and produce some easy on the eye textures. However, it came to my attention recently that greyscale textures affect fps, and after some tests it appears they actually improve fps, which became a big motivational factor and kick up the ass to get them ready. One thing which held things up was filesize (it was becoming in excess of 500mb), but recently i discovered how to reduce the filesize greatly, now it is a little over 90mb (compressed). I would like to thank those who have been testing these textures and keeping me noted of any bugs or unfinished maps, and I hope that people will continue to find bugs so I can keep them up-to-date.



To install


  1. Download and extract into your [small]Half-Life\ag[/small] or [small]Half-Life\ag_addon[/small] folder.
  2. add r_wadtextures "1" to your userconfig.

Bugs / Errors

Most maps should work fine, but here are a few things to watch out for:

To fix these errors, you must edit your userconfig and change r_wadtextures to "0".




If you do find maps which have problems, feel free to post them here and I can try to update the texture pack.

As a general rule, I will prioritize DM maps over jump maps. There are hundreds of jump maps and you can be certain most of them will cause errors - the effort to retexture all these maps is too much, so try and keep it to DM maps.

Si am mai intalnit fps drop din cauza unui mouse care sarea aiurea ( in trecut ) , se misca mult prea rapid astfel incat imi producea fps drop.
Poti incerca niste modele low polly, care nu cer atat de multe resurse placi video, de preferat cu cat mai mic .


PLAYER MODELS


A good set of player models is helpful for those who struggle to see the default models against background textures. Valve and HLDM:AG have locked certain player models and you cannot change the valve models ie. barney, gina, gman, gordon, helmet, hgrunt, recon, robo, scientist, zombie. However you can edit the textures of the player model (the default model used when you change to a model which isn't found in the models folder) and of course, you can replace the red and blue models to any model.

This is a selection of red and blue models and player model reskins. I have created or reworked most of the models below (excluding sarge) with the intention of increasing visibility whilst reducing texture size and filesize and generally cleaning the model files. I have stuck to 3 basic model shapes and created different specific features for each. The red and blue models are split into 3 categories, firstly there is the standard red/blue style model, then there is the bright models and lastly the glow models. Hopefully this should give players a variety of models to choose from.

To use these, put the player.mdl and playert.mdl files inside your [small]half-life\ag\models[/small] folder. Red and blue models go inside their own folder inside the [small]half-life\ag\models\player[/small] folder. In most of the downloads for the red and blue models I have included different colors - red, blue, green, pink and yellow. If you wish to use a different color simply rename the .mdl file and its parent folder to either red or blue.

High poly player models can affect your fps, which is why I have included a polycount for each model - the higher the polycount, the more likely you are of getting fps drops. The player model however is at a fixed polycount due to the fact its only a reskin.

multumesc pentru fisierele si comenziile date. au fost cateva care nu stiam daca sa le pun sau nu/ care ar fi bune, dar acum merge putin mai bine ca inainte(si au cam ramas nepuse:| ).
